Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Winter Introduce Son Dylan Gabriel

With her first-born Sebella Rose, 6, wishing for a little sister, Roselyn Sánchez thought she would have to come up with some creative way to keep the peace at home once she delivered a baby boy last November.

“Throughout the entire pregnancy, she wanted a little sister and when we told her that the baby was a little boy she got all worked up,” the Puerto Rican actress revealed in the May cover story of People en Español. “We said: ‘She’s going to be jealous, it’s going to be very hard’ and that girl has been wonderful, she’s in love with her brother.”

Their new bundle of joy, Dylan Gabriel, is making his exclusive debut in the pages of the latest issue of the magazine and his parents are overwhelmed with pride and gratitude. “She’s great,” Sánchez’s husband, actor Eric Winter, says of the mother of his two children. “I have my little girl [Sebella], she now has her little boy. She’s obsessed.”

Sánchez adds: “Eric actually thinks he delivered the babies, that he actually pushed them out of his body, he’s very hands-on. I’m very lucky.”

The road to parenthood was rough for Sánchez and Winter as the couple had a hard time conceiving. The actress, 45, who is filming a pilot for ABC, Grand Hotel, opened up to PEOPLE CHICA last year about their long, painful struggle to give their daughter a sibling via in vitro fertilization: “I’m thankful for the fact that I’m able to be a mom again at my age,” she said. “After a lot of work and a lot of prayers, God gave me the opportunity.”
