‘Roseanne’ Revival Casts ‘Shameless’ Star as Darlene and David’s Teen Daughter

“Shameless” actress Emma Kenney has landed the role of Darlene and David’s teenage daughter on “Roseanne.”

Kenney will be a series regular playing Harris on the ABC comedy’s eight-episode revival that premieres as a midseason addition in 2018.

The role of Harris was introduced during Season 9 of the original “Roseanne” run. Sara Gilbert (Darlene) is returning, but Johnny Galecki (David) has not yet been confirmed to appear.

Among the other original stars who are set to return are Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), John Goodman (Dan), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Lecy Goranson (Becky), Michael Fishman (DJ) and Sarah Chalke, who filled in as Becky on the original series but will now have a new role.

Kenney is represented by Primary Wave Entertainment, Innovative Artists and McKuin Frankel Whitehead.
