Roseanne Barr Accidentally Got Her Mom Super High
On Thursday’s Conan, Roseanne Barr shared the story of the day her mother accidentally ate edible marijuana. The comedian, who plans to open a marijuana shop, had some medical-marijuana-infused cheesecake in her refrigerator. Her 83-year-old mother was visiting and was looking for a snack. Barr explained, “She took a bite, didn’t like the taste, so she melted an entire candy bar of medical marijuana chocolate over that and ate that.”
Without knowing it, her mother had eaten 26 doses of marijuana. What’s more, her mother had never taken marijuana or even had a drink of alcohol. Barr continued, “She started getting all woozy, and we had to take her to the emergency room.”
After a bit of medical attention and likely a ton of laughing, her mother was sent home. Hopefully, Barr will label her food more carefully in the future.
