The Rookie: Feds‘ Niecy Nash Caves In, ‘Dresses the Part’ for Her Secret Celebrity Renovation — WATCH

The stylish Niecy Nash has a “change of heart” and glams down for her stint on Secret Celebrity Renovation, as revealed in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek at this week’s episode of the CBS series.

This Friday at 8/7c, The Rookie: Feds star Nash surprises her lifelong friend and biggest cheerleader, Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game), with a complete renovation to the Amazing Grace Conservatory in Los Angeles — a performing arts conservatory for emerging artists and at-risk youth that Robinson founded over 25 years ago.

As Nash pushes the SCR design team to the limit to give the AGC the facelift it deserves — in what is described as “the biggest, and most emotional, renovation of the season” — Nash in the clip above has changed out of her fashionable Day 1 fit (see photo below) to instead don fatigues and more practically brave the hands-on tasks at hand.

This of course marks perhaps the only time in the near future that Nash’s fans might spy her on primetime TV, save for the occasional game show drop-by. The Rookie: Feds remains in limbo stage at ABC, having still not yet been renewed for another season — not that any scripted show is in production amid the Hollywood strikes.
