Is Ronnie ready to return?

He might not be.

Much was said, but there were telling things left unsaid, about Ronnie's domestic violence arrests on the Thursday, Oct. 26, episode of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation."

Ronnie met with cast members while they were at the Margaritaville resort in Orlando in April, as depicted in last week's episode. Sammi Giancola, Ronnie's ex, stayed away from the meeting and went sightseeing with her current boyfriend.

“I have nothing to say to Ron,” said Sammi on Thursday's said. “I just want to enjoy the day with my man.”

Ronnie still has a connection with the roomies, even if some wrote him off because of the arrests, which caused him to leave the show two years ago.

“You turned into a person who we had no idea who you were anymore,” Deena Cortese said.

Ronnie, who's living in Miami, is now single and sober, according to the show. He previously stated that he has full-time custody of his daughter, Ariana, but on Thursday he stated that he has her weekdays. Her mom, Jen Harley, has her on weekends.

Ronnie and Jen were involved in multiple incidents where police were called, including one in 2018 in Las Vegas when Ronnie was caught in a seat belt outside of a car driven by Jen, with Ariana inside. Charges were dropped against Harley.

As for Ronnie, his current state of being was a little vague on Thursday's episode during a conversation with Pauly DelVecchio.

“I'll be good for a couple of weeks, a month or so, and then I'll have, like, a you know, but…” said Ronnie, trailing off. “I'm going to keep trying and just…”

Ronnie seemed to suggest that he was having relapses of some sort, but the issue wasn't further explored on the episode.

A potential Ronnie and Sammi reunion was explored. Sammi opted out of the “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” reboot in 2018 as she wanted to “avoid potentially toxic situations” with Ronnie. She seems happy not being in the same room with him.

Ronnie, on the other hand, is anticipating the meeting.

“Eventually we have to have a conversation,” Ronnie said. “I feel that it's something that needs to be done.”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi asked what if Sammi doesn't want to.

“I'd be fine with that, too,” Ronnie said. “Whatever is going to make her feel more comfortable.”

The topic came up later in the show.

“Enough time has passed and we've both been through enough stuff in our lives that I think we've both moved on,” Ronnie said.

“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” airs at 8 p.m. Thursdays on MTV.
