Ronda Rousey Is on 'Impregnation Vacation': WWE Star Reportedly on Hiatus to Start Family

After earning championships in the UFC and WWE, Ronda Rousey might be going for something different this time: her first baby.

On Monday, the 32-year-old hinted she’s trying to start a family after she posted a picture of her and husband Travis Browne kissing with the hashtag “#impregnationvacation.” The news comes after Rousey and Charlotte Flair lost a triple-threat match to superstar Becky Lynch during the first all-female main event in WrestleMania history earlier this month.

ESPN reported this week that a source said Rousey is taking a hiatus from the WWE to try for a baby.

Back in January, journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Rousey was considering starting a family and planned to exit WWE after WrestleMania, though later reports said her departure was only going to be temporary.

That same month, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne asked Rousey about the possibility of having a baby.

“I’ve not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family,” Rousey told ESPN. “But how do you go about doing that? I love this way more than I thought that I would. So do you just keep going until you just happen to get pregnant? Or should you stop and go try and get pregnant? Or is going and trying to get pregnant putting yourself on the spot and then you’re less likely to get pregnant?”

She continued, “I’ve never had a baby before, I don’t know these kinds of things.”
