Ron Howard Survival-Thriller ‘Eden’ Rounds Out Cast (Exclusive)

A group of actors are headed to Eden. Ron Howard has added to the cast of his feature, which is currently in production in Australia, with a small unit also filming in the Galapagos.

Richard Roxburgh, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, Paul Gleeson, Ignacio Gasparini and Nicholas Denton join a cast that includes previously announced stars Jude Law, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney, Ana de Armas and Daniel Brühl.

The film is based on real-life events and hails from Tetris scribe Noah Pink.

“Based on an unsolved mystery that unfolded on a remote island in the Galapagos, Eden is a provocative and surprising survival thriller about the lengths we will go in pursuit of happiness,” reads the logline for the film.

Howard will produce with Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder for Imagine Entertainment. Also producing are AGC Studios’ Stuart Ford, as well as Bill Connor and Patrick Newall.

Roxburgh was recently seen playing Elvis Presley’s father in Elvis and his credits include Moulin Rouge! He is repped by The Gersh Agency and Anonymous Content.

Wallace, who has roles in the upcoming features The Bikeriders and Finestkind, is repped by CAA, 3 Arts Entertainment and CP Artist Management.

Kammerer, one of the leads in the Oscar-winning All Quiet on the Western Front, is repped by Independent Talent Group.

Gleeson, whose credits include The Thin Red Line and who worked with Howard on Thirteen Lives, is repped by RGM Artists.

Gasparini, known for the Spanish-language title Como Hermanas, is repped by Bedford & Pearce Management.

Denton, who stars in Showtime’s Dangerous Liaisons series, is repped by UTA, United Management in Australia and Megan Silverman Management.

Updated to note Nicholas Denton has joined the cast.
