Ron Howard is Shocked Over Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin College Bribery Scandal

Ron Howard says he had no clue there were secret circles that specialized in juicing wealthy children into elite universities, and is glad officials are taking steps to clean it all up.

Howard was out in L.A. on Tuesday when he was asked about the indictments for Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin. The “Space Jam 2” director, who attended USC but did not graduate, said he was shocked over the details he had heard.

He says his kids are now grown, and admits there was never an inside system among his circle of friends that claimed “Here’s how you do it,” when getting kids into school. Howard’s kids, including actress Bryce Dallas Howard, attended NYU.

As we reported, Lori Loughlin is scheduled to surrender to authorities Wednesday morning on charges of mail fraud.
