In 1973's "The Exorcist", perhaps one of the most unsettling horror movies ever made, a young girl named Regan (Linda Blair) starts behaving oddly seemingly out of nowhere. She speaks out of turn in completely vulgar tones, she has accidents, and her behavior is generally off color. Her mother (Ellen Burstyn) is at a loss as to what's wrong with her daughter, and no doctor can seem to help. She calls in a priest (Jason Miller) who believes Regan's been possessed by an evil spirit. The priest brings in an expert to exorcise the demon from Regan's body, but it may be too late . . . for all of them.
