Viewers of the Indian biographical drama series Rocket Boys have been wondering whether or not the show would get a third season ever since the second season premiered in bulk on 16 March 2023.

Is there a Rocket Boys Season 3 release date?
No, Rocket Boys Season 3 does not have a release date as of this writing.
This is because SonyLIV has yet to renew the series for a third outing on streaming television. However, producers Nikhil Advani and Siddharth Roy Kapur have teased that a potential third season would revolve around a new generation of scientists in an interview with Deadline. They also mentioned that they will discuss the renewal with SonyLIV when they feel the time is right.
Moreover, Advani revealed in an interview with Variety that he and Kapur have discussed making a third season, but only during what he claims are “moments of weakness.
So, from Advani’s statements, we can conclude that a third season is in the cards but that it will not be happening anytime soon.
Rocket Boys’ cast includes Jim Sarbh, Ishwak Singh, Regina Cassandra, Saba Azad, Rajit Kapoor, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Namit Das, and K.C. Shankar.

“Spanning three crucial decades (1940-60s) in the history of India, the story chronicles the life of three great men responsible for launching India’s space and nuclear programs respectively: Dr. Homi J. Bhabha, the architect of India’s Nuclear Programme, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, universally acknowledged as the Father of the Indian Space Programme and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the pioneer of modern Indian aerospace and nuclear technology. The season traces the journey of Bhabha and Sarabhai coming to terms with the challenges facing a young, independent nation and their friendship, sacrifice, and determination.”
