And if your Christmas spirit hasn’t seeped in yet, Rockefeller Centers' annual tree lighting ceremony should bring it out.
The 2023 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is coming from Vestal, N.Y. It's a Norway Spruce and will be cut down on Thursday, Nov. 9, and arrive at Rockefeller Center on Saturday, Nov.11.
The 80-foot-tall tree will be adorned with more than 50,000 multi-colored, energy-efficient LED lights wrapped in 5 miles of wire, topped with a three-dimensional Swarovski star that features 70 spikes covered in 3 million crystals.
According to rockefellercenter.com the Norway Spruce is 80-85 years old, 43 feet wide and 12 tons in weight.
Where is Vestal, New York?

What is the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree?
In 1931, workers at Rockefeller Center together bought a 20-foot tall Christmas tree and used handmade decorations from their families to decorate it. The Center made the decision to make the Christmas tree an annual tradition, by cementing the first tree lighting ceremony in 1933. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree became the holiday beacon and a quintessential New York experience.
Was there ever a New Jersey tree chosen?
Yes, so far there have been two. In 2008 the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was a 72-foot-tall Norway spruce from Tree King nursery in Hamilton. The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree from 2012 was a tree from Flanders, New Jersey. Once removed the lumber was used in Habitat homes in Madison, New Jersey, and New York City.
