LITITZ, Pa. (WHTM) — Rock Lititz, the Lancaster County entertainment complex that welcomes music stars and live entertainment collaborators from around the world, recently shared plans to open a new facility in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to Rock Lititz, the new’ Rock Nashville’ facility will be constructed on a 55-acre property in an area known as Whites Creek, which is less than 10 miles from key attractions in Downtown Nashville.

Rock Lititz gives students a look at entertainment industry

The groundbreaking of the new Rock Nashville was held back in April 2024, and according to Rock Lititz, the new campus will include 514,000 square feet of rehearsal facilities, creative offices, and production facilities.

Rock Lititz says that the new facility, which is being developed in conjunction with leading commercial real estate developer Al Neyer, will largely mirror their Lancaster facility.

“As we approach ten years since Rock Lititz opened its doors, we’ve been eager to find the next space and partner for expanding our support for the live entertainment industry,” Andrea Shirk, Rock Lititz President and CEO said. “This unique and hard-working community thrives with access to specialized training, mentoring, and resources to help create custom live experiences for audiences worldwide. It is with great excitement that we’ve identified Nashville and Al. Neyer as the right city and partner. We are passionate about growing this network, and Nashville is the perfect location to join with other industry leaders to create something special.”

Once completed, Rock Nashville expects to be home to 400 employees, along with 85 employees at supporting businesses.

Construction of the new Rock Nashville is anticipated to be completed in the Fall of 2025.

“We remain committed to the Lititz community and central Pennsylvania,” Shirk added. “Rehearsals, operations, and growth plans for Lititz remain in place, and we are excited to expand our rehearsal studio options at the Rock Lititz campus as construction of the Academy of Live Technology will be completed in May. The strategic addition of Rock Nashville will continue the Rock Lititz legacy as a leader in supporting the live event industry.”

In addition to announcing these new plans for Rock Nashville, Rock Lititz also confirmed that they purchased about 38 acres of the High Sports complex at 727 Furnace Hills Pike. The company does not have any immediate plans for the property.

“We will explore the possibilities of how best to complement our 108-acre campus of businesses, education facility and rehearsal studios that support the live event industry,” Shirk explained.
