The Robertsons Take a Trip to Uganda on ‘Duck Dynasty’

While Willie and the guys goofed around hunting one another, the wives and kids traveled to Uganda. For several years, the Duck Dynasty stars have been working with Help One Now, an organization that works to break the cycle of extreme poverty across the globe.

Korie, Missy, and some of the kids were welcomed into a community where Help One Now has worked to build a school and homes for the people there. They met with a family that now has a house with concrete floors, some livestock, and a garden to help provide a sustainable living situation.

Sadie Robertson had been looking forward to the trip for a long time, but after spending some time there, she realized it was more than she ever imagined. Sadie said, “The trip overall has been absolutely incredible; I think it surpassed anything that I imagined it could be, but it also showed me that there’s so much hope and that there’s so much that we can do to help out.”
