Robert Pattinson and Pregnant Suki Waterhouse Are ‘Thrilled Beyond Words’ to Be Expecting: Source (Exclusive)

A week after the couple announced they're expecting their first baby together, a film source tells PEOPLE that Pattinson, 46, is "smart and keeps his life low-key and out of the spotlight as much as possible."
"He and Suki are very serious and have been. A baby coming is an absolute joy for them," the source says of the pair. "They are thrilled beyond words.”
Another source adds, "They are ready for a child, and looking forward to becoming parents. Even though they are both professionals who work a great deal, this is something they want."
"They know their lives will change, and they are excited.”

Last week, the pregnant model and singer, 31, shared a round-up of photos on her Instagram from her concert at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico, which featured a picture of Waterhouse's baby bump.

Wearing glittery flare pants and a sparkly purple top layered over a green shirt that accentuated her bump, Waterhouse smiled as she took a selfie in the mirror. "Thank you for such a beautiful time in mexico! ❤️," she wrote in the caption.
Waterhouse has been in a relationship with Pattinson for more than five years. She and The Batman star were first romantically linked in July 2018, when a source told PEOPLE they were "dating" after they were spotted out together in London.
In an interview with The Sunday Times in February 2023, Waterhouse opened up about her long-term relationship with Pattinson.
"I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years," she said, adding that the couple never goes more than two months without seeing each other. "I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I'm going back to see him."
