Zac Efron makes a sandwich for Robert De Niro

Zac Efron and Robert De Niro may have worked together on the upcoming Dirty Grandpa, but the Oscar-winning De Niro still has plenty to teach his up and coming costar. In a new Funny or Die video, De Niro tells his on-screen grandson that he has a metaphorical acting lesson planned — but really, all he wants from Efron is a good sandwich.

Efron eats up De Niro’s pearls of wisdom, including handed-down pieces of advice from Marlon Brando, and Judi Dench’s age-old acting axiom, “Don’t put too much turkey on the sandwich.” Efron obediently follows De Niro’s step-by-step instructions, hoping to live up to the master’s expectations.
