Robert Irwin's Girlfriend Rorie Buckey Celebrates His 20th Birthday with Loving Post: 'My Partner in Crime'

Buckey marked her "best friend" Robert's birthday with a sweet Instagram post, while the conservationist also received birthday love from sister Bindi and mom Terri

Robert Irwin is feeling the birthday love!

On Thursday, one day before Robert's 20th birthday, his girlfriend Rorie Buckey shared a sweet tribute to the conservationist alongside a reel of them posing together.

"Happy 20th Birthday to my partner in crime and best friend. I love you @robertirwinphotography 💌🌟” she captioned the Instagram shot.

Robert responded in the comment section, writing, “Awww Rorie ❤️ thank you, I can’t wait to enter my 20th year with you!”

Buckey’s message comes after the couple stepped out together at the 2023 Earthshot Prize in Singapore earlier this month.

The pair went public with their relationship in July when they attended the Sydney premiere of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One together. In September, Robert - who is the son of the late Steve Irwin - also shared a carousel post of the couple painting together.

Besides Buckey, Robert’s family also celebrated his milestone birthday on social media.

His sister, Bindi Irwin, shared then-and-now photos with her brother in honor of the occasion, writing, “Now I’m standing on my tiptoes to take a photo with you. Happy birthday to the best. 20 years, and a lifetime of adventures ahead of you - remember, you can always call your sister. Love you @robertirwinphotography.”

Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell looked back at his friendship with Robert to mark his birthday.

“Happy 20th birthday to my brother-in-law @robertirwinphotography 🎉” he wrote alongside a photo of him, Bindi and Robert. “From surfing, to spotlighting for reptiles, to running around with [his daughter] Grace, we have so much fun and I can’t wait to see what the next 20 years bring!"

Robert's mother Terri also celebrated his birthday on social media, sharing, “Happy birthday Robert. How is it that you are already 20?”

“Thank you for making every day special,” she added. “You have always marvelled at each experience and adventure, and your happiness brings light to my soul. Always keep your curiosity and enthusiasm because having such passion to savour life the way you do is a true gift.”

“I feel incredibly blessed to share the journey with you. I’m a lucky mum indeed. I love you now and forever. ❤️”
