Claims of Rob Marciano's behavior on the ABC Studios set are surfacing. As The Blast previously reported, some are accusing the weatherman of having a short fuse, ultimately leading to his firing.

More reports are beginning to surface, including a "heated screaming match" which allegedly was "the last straw" for the network.

Earlier this week, The Blast reported that ABC allegedly fired the 55-year-old amid allegations that he made a co-worker uncomfortable on set.

In the past, he was banned from 'Good Morning America' after doing "something improper."

“He was found to have done something that was improper, but he was punished for it,” an insider told Page Six last year. “He made people feel uncomfortable. There was a period where there were some issues, a number of alarming events."

The source added, "There were times when [Marciano] was very cranky and angry … unsavory behavior on his part. He was pulled off to deal with it and he’s been back."

According to sources close to the situation, ABC fired Marciano after several staffers witnessed an incident. The weatherman got into a “heated screaming match” with one of the producers of 'Good Morning America,' that is according to two sources who spoke with The Daily Beast.

"Following the veteran weatherman’s recent outburst towards the producer, the network’s chief meteorologist, Ginger Zee, overheard the story of Marciano’s latest workplace tirade," the outlet reported. "Zee then decided to report the incident to network leadership, considering that it wasn’t the first time that Marciano had crossed the line on the set."

There have been past complaints about Marciano's behavior, and so this last alleged "screaming match" was "the last straw."

Rob Marciano allegedly had an ongoing feud with 'Good Morning America''s weekday meteorologist Ginger Zee.

According to The New York Post, Marciano reportedly had a “hot temper,” which caused issues with Zee. The source further claims she was equally capable of being “nasty."

“I think she brought out the worst in him. I’m not giving him a pass. It’s sad because they are two people who are really into the science of the weather," the source revealed. "Unfortunately, their personalities didn’t work.”

Another source told the newspaper, “She treated him as a beta and she was the alpha, but they were much more peers in terms of experience, more than Ginger was with Sam [Champion].”

Rob Marciano's firing comes approximately nine months after he celebrated ten years with the network.

"This month marks the start of my 10th year with ABC News, and I couldn’t be more pumped to continue this journey with all of you," he said on social media at the time. "I always dreamed of working for this network as a kid, and my children are equally psyched that I will now be home most weekends!"

He added, "I'll continue doing what I’m doing, contributing across all ABC shows and platforms Mon-Fri, while getting more quality time with my kiddos on the weekends. My thanks to the bosses who listened and made this work-life balance possible. I’m also grateful for an exciting new project with NatGeo that has me exploring some very very cool stuff… more to come!"

Following the news of Marciano's firing, Swetha Sharma, who previously worked at the same company as Marciano, spoke out, claiming that the meteorologist had a reputation for his behavior.

"He was nice, but that also wasn't everyone's experience with him," Sharma told PEOPLE, adding that he had a short fuse and was easily angered. "There were always stories about him [and] about his temper."

"No one that worked with him or witnessed his behavior is surprised by any of this," Sharma added. She said that several other colleagues were "always happy to see they were assigned" to Marciano and that the "Rob Marciano being portrayed is not the Rob Marciano we know."

The Blast has reached out to Rob Marciano for comment, but has yet to hear back. He was recently seen wearing a baseball cap and a backpack, leaving his Westchester County home.
