When you come from a famous family you sometimes have to fight to grab a little bit of the limelight for yourself. And if your last name is Kardashian there's definitely a need to establish yourself as someone with their own voice. All of the sisters, Kourtney, Khloe and Kim, have their own unique characteristics that speak to their brand, much like their younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. However, one member of the family who continuously tries to make a name for himself is Rob Kardashian.
Though Kardashian is widely regarded as the only boy in a family full of girls he has always tried his best to hold his own against their extreme personalities. Though his presence has eased a bit since the early days of their hit reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians Rob has always been around to add a bit of drama to the mix. Even during his relationship with co-host of The Real singer Adrienne Bailon. Their ups and downs provided many moments of great TV drama.
Everyone knows that after Kardashian and Bailon ended their relationship he eventually fell head over heels in love with social media vixen Blac Chyna, which eventually lead to the two of them welcoming a baby into the word; their daughter Dream. Unfortunately, since Kardashian's track record with women has been terrible up to this point, things soon became disastrous between the two of them. There were cheating allegations, leaked nude photos and constant bickering all over social media that ultimately made Kardashian take a break from the spotlight to get himself together.
Though Kardashian and Chyna began this year in heavy litigation for a custody battle involving Dream he hasn't been as vocal as in years past on social media, which is a good thing. He's been taking time to re-shift his focus and according to Showbiz Cheatsheet getting in shape is one of his top priorities.
According to reports, Kardashian is doing multiple things to drop the pounds. Sources say that he has a workout routine and follows an easy, peasy diet. But that’s not to say that he’s made a complete 180. Like everyone, there are allegedly still times when he slips up. “Rob has a trainer, but he’ll be the first one to tell you that he doesn’t always commit,” a source told Life & Style on Oct. 24. “He still struggles, but food is where he’s been making some great strides. He still loves In-N-Out Double-Double burgers and fries, but he’s really cut back. He’s all about salads and fruits, fish and chicken, walking on the treadmill.”
Exercise has always been a great stress reliever, which is probably what Kardshian needed to escape the trials and tribulations he'd been enduring for so many years. But as far as drama with any more ladies there's only one girl on his mind right now; his daughter Dream.
“Rob’s main priority has always been his daughter, Dream, and that’s the main reason he’s back in the gym,” an insider previously explained to Entertainment Tonight. “Rob has struggled with staying healthy, but since Dream was born, he’s realized how much more important it is for him to get back into the gym and eating healthy.”
Hopefully, Kardashian will keep things up and finally be able to establish his own identity outside the monolith that is the KarJenner brand. Good luck Rob and Congratulations.
