Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo has shared a new song called “Two Broken Hearts” along with a goofy music video, which features Rivers in Bitmoji, meme, and human form, as reported by Stereogum. The visual finds IRL Rivers dancing with abandon, chugging from water bottles, and snacking, while his Bitmoji avatar cruises on a gondola and dangles from a bunch of balloons with a lady friend. Weezer are set to release their next record Weezer (The Black Album), on March 1, 2019. Recently, “Saturday Night Live” featured a Weezer-inspired skit, during which host Matt Damon defended the band’s post-Pinkerton catalog during a heated dinner party debate. After the episode aired, Cuomo tweeted emphatically about the sketch. He then denied having ever seen it.
