‘Riverdale’ Star Mädchen Amick Reveals We’ll Soon Know Who Killed Jason Blossom (Exclusive Video)
We might be finding out who killed Jason Blossom earlier than expected on “Riverdale,” according to one series star.
Mädchen Amick, who plays Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) mother Alice on the show, told TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell that the show will actually reveal the answer to the first season’s big mystery in the penultimate episode.
“We will actually know by Episode 12,” Amick confirmed. “But the reasoning – why he was killed – is still a little bit of a mystery.”

Amick also rated Alice Cooper’s parenting skills, which is dubious, after sending older daughter Polly to an asylum after getting pregnant, and being overbearing and over-involved in Betty’s social life.
“Is she a very protective mother? Yes, check,” she mused. “Will she do anything for her family, and her girls? Absolutely, check. These are all very good parenting skills. Does she know when it’s appropriate to go that far? Maybe not so much.”
Amick also discussed how “Riverdale’s” Alice Cooper might get along with her other famous character, “Twin Peaks” resident Shelly Johnson.

“I don’t think they would get along,” Amick said. “I think if Shelly were to serve Alice food, Alice might need to worry about what might be in the food.”
