'Riverdale' Cast Documents Table Read For Episode That Will Address Luke Perry's Death

'Riverdale' will give Luke Perry the in memoriam episode that he deserves.

Members of the cast posed together during the table read for episode 1 of season 4, announcing this will be the episode the late actor's death will be honored in when they return on Wednesday, October 9th.

Mädchen Amick, who plays Alice Cooper, posted the group shot on Monday with a caption honoring Perry.

"There was nothing but love, memories and mourning for our beloved Luke as we honor him in our first episode back," she wrote, also hashtagging "#wemissyouluke."

Amick's comments were flooded with love, but it's Perry's kids who tugged at fan's heartstrings.

His wrestler son, Jack Perry, responded with a single heart, while his sister, Sophie Perry, commented with three yellow hearts.

The table read photo includes all of the core cast -- including KJ Apa, who plays Archie, Perry's character's son.

Fans are already letting the tears fall.

"The first episode without Luke hasn’t even started and I'm already crying," one fan commented. "My tissue box is ready," wrote another.

As The Blast reported, Luke Perry made his last appearance in "Riverdale" on April 24 -- nearly two months after he died.

In Perry's final episode, he appeared in the kitchen with Archie after they learn the guy Archie fought is now dead. When Archie blames himself -- despite the fallen fighter taking drugs before their match -- Perry's character looked into his son's eyes and said his final words, “You’re innocent.”

The heart-wrenching moment left fans in puddles on social media.

Although, the tears were flowing, "Riverdale" followers were warned by the show creator ahead of time about the touching moment.

"This week’s #Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever," Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared.

He later promised Perry's character would get the proper send-off in the upcoming season because they didn't want to rush it.

Luke Perry passed away on March 4 after suffering a stroke.

While his character is done on "Riverdale," fans will still be able to watch his work in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," a project his son says he "was so proud of."

As The Blast reported, Perry's billboard has already gone up in the heart of Hollywood.

The billboard is on Sunset Blvd. and shows Perry in character as Scott Lancer, an actor who appears in a show alongside Leonardo DiCaprio‘s fading western TV star Rick Dalton.

It reads simply, "Luke Perry is Scott."

Perry's final project hits theaters on July 26.
