Rita Ora has been training hard, and it shows! The Brit singer shared a few snaps of her fabulously fit physique from a gym in Australia via her Instagram stories this week, celebrating her washboard abs in a sports bra and matching leggings. How does Rita keep her body strong and chiseled to perfection? Here are a few of her top workout tips she's told others—and the photos to prove they work.

She Devotes A LOT of Time to Fitness

Some stars rely on quick, intense workouts, but not Rita. She revealed to Shape that her sessions at the gym are incredibly long. "I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have," she confessed. "What I've learned is that you can take your time with training. You don't have to beat yourself up as long as you get in the workouts that you need. I used to push myself until I felt sick. But I'm approaching it differently now. I enjoy working out. And I like the aftermath—that feeling of contentment."

She's All About Circuit Training

Ora is a fan of the scientifically endorsed method of circuit training. "I do three circuits and repeat that three times," she explained to Shape. "I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio."

Strong Is Her Main Objective

Rita focuses her energy on strength—not slimming down. "I'm not going to lie and say I was completely happy with my body before. I knew I could change a few things to improve my stamina, especially onstage. I didn't start working out to get skinnier-I started working out to feel better. And I think it's important for women to know that. Don't be obsessed with being thin. You just have to be fit, healthy, and strong," she told Shape. "I love my shape because it's curvy. I have thighs. I'm a size 28 in jeans. And that's an average, normal size. I'm proud that I'm normal."

She Tries New Workouts

While circuit training is her go-to, Rita is always down to try a new workout method. "I've started this thing called Barrecore," she told Harper's Bazaar a few years back. "I'm not a massive cardio fan, not that anyone really is, but this pulses your body to the music. It's shaky—you almost feel like Bambi, but it's really good for you. It's like ballet mixed with pulsing yoga??"

In a 2020 Instagram Story, Rita revealed her post-workout cooldown. "One of the most important parts of my day. Meditating after working out, be calm, feel your breathing," she captioned a series of clips of her practice.
