Rita Moreno is 92 years young and having the time of her life.

In a recent video posted from her publicity team at Katz PR, the award-winning actress can be seen among friends, conducting a rousing chorus of “Happy Birthday to You” with live piano accompaniment.

Moreno, all smiles, appears to be standing on a chair — the better to direct her admirers from above. Outfitted in a dark blazer with glittering brooch, leather pants and flashy earrings, it’s clear the EGOT-winning legend is celebrating her big day in style.

“Feliz cumpleaños, Rita!” reads the caption from Katz PR, posted on Moreno’s Dec. 11 birthday. “92 years young and still the life of the party.”

"I mean, celebrating 92 is a very big deal,” the West Side Story Oscar winner recently told PEOPLE exclusively. “I said to my daughter, ‘What are we going to do? Because I definitely want to celebrate 92. My God, that's pretty good!”

This year, she added, she may be celebrating her birthday more than once. “I'm thinking of possibly doing two birthday parties in the apartment,” Moreno said of the new condominium building she moved into from her Berkeley Hills, California home. “I may have to have three birthday parties.”

Her new space is “beautiful,” she continued. “But it won't hold all of the people that I have for my birthday, because I always have fabulous birthdays.”

Moreno, who stars in the new Netflix movie Family Switch, is herself an active social media user, posting glamorous photos old and new on her Instagram account.

On Dec. 6, the day after TV producer Norman Lear died, Moreno posted a heartfelt tribute in his honor. “I am cut to the quick and already lonesome for my dear friend, Norman,” she wrote in the caption. Lear was the executive producer of the 2017 iteration of One Day at a Time, which Moreno starred in.

“Our nation has lost a treasured looking glass,” she continued. “By his reflected wit we were disarmed enough to see our wrinkles. And he wasn’t promoting makeup but heart transplants.”

Speaking to PEOPLE, Moreno also opened up about suffering from loneliness since the 2010 death of Leonard Gordon, her husband of 45 years. Although she describes herself as “gregarious,” the actress admitted feeling “so sad” after her move to the condominium.

“I was really lonely,” she said candidly, adding that she realized she didn’t know how to make new friends. “It's the most fascinating thing to learn about yourself… I've never had to seek people's company,” she added. “You know why? Because people have always come to me.”

Even at age 92, Moreno shows no signs of stopping in terms of her work on the big screen. This year she starred in 80 for Brady, Fast X and Family Switch, and made appearances on Lopez vs. Lopez and Princess Power.
