Rising country star to headline Sangamon County Fair this summer. Here's what we know

Rising country music star Priscilla Block will bring her "Hey, Jack" tour to the Sangamon County Fair in New Berlin on June 13.
Block opened for Justin Moore last summer at the Menard County Fair in Petersburg. Block sang on Moore's "You, Me, and Whiskey" from his 2022 album "Stray Dog."
Several other county fairs in the area have also announced their musical headliners.

Block's breakout hit about an ex-flame, "Just About Over You," went viral after being launched on TikTok. The song garnered Block a music contract with Mercury Nashville and was featured on her debut album "Welcome to the Block Party."
A recent single, "Good On You," is available for download or streaming on her website.
The 28-year-old Raleigh, North Carolina native has cited Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert and Dolly Parton as musical influences.
Tickets for Block's show are discounted at $25 through March 9 at etix.com. The price doesn't include admission to the fair, which runs June 12-16.
Fair board member Jessie Burrell said it will be announcing a musical act joining Block soon.
The Rogue Rodeo will return on June 14 with the demolition derby slated for June 15, Burrell said.
Last year, the fair trimmed its featured entertainment to one evening.
"We're trying to bring back some things that focus on the agricultural mission of the fair, too, to blend with the entertaiment," Burrell said.
Regional and local bands will play at the Warren Boynton State Bank Pavillion Thursday through Saturday, she added.
Macoupin County Fair
At the Macoupin County Fair in Carlinville, Country Music Association award winner Tracy Lawrence ("Find Out Who Your Friends Are") headlines on June 6. Walker Montgomery joins the bill.
Tickets are $30-$45 and available at etix.com. The fair runs June 4-9.
Schuyler County Fair
Gary Allan ("Get Off on the Pain") will be featured at the Schuyler County Fair in Rushville on June 29.
Allan, who was influenced by the Bakersfield sound of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, last topped the charts with 2013's "Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)."

Morgan County Fair
Mitchell Tenpenny ("Drunk Me," "We Got History") returns to the Morgan County Fair in Jacksonville on July 12.
Tenpenny, who has also sung with Chris Young and Colt Ford, was on the 2021 bill with Scottie McCreerie in 2021. Sara Evans opens the show.

On July 13, country rocker Brantley Gilbert ("Bottoms Up," "You Don't Know Her Like I Do") headlines.
Gilbert's "The Ones That Like Me" tour stopped at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand in 2018.
