What do Taylor Swift’s music-writing partner-in-crime Jack Antonoff and recent Country Music Award winner Jelly Roll have in common? They’re both performing at a music festival in Fort Lauderdale in December.

In the seven years since it began, The Riptide Music Festival – hosted by entertainment company Audacy – has featured performances from an eclectic parade of influential artists like Lil Nas X, The 1975, Panic! At The Disco, Weezer, Earth, Wind and Fire and Boyz II Men. This year, The Black Keys and Jelly Roll will be headlining the two-day festival.

What is the alternative music festival in Fort Lauderdale?

Riptide, briefly called Audacy Beach Festival in 2021 and 2022, started in 2016 and is returning with its original name this year. The festival will be during the first weekend of December.

How much are tickets to Riptide Music Festival?

Tickets for general admission to one day of the festival are around $95 after fees and a VIP ticket for a single day is around $310. A two-day general admission ticket is around $130 after fees and a VIP ticket to both days is around $370.

What is the difference between general admission and VIP?

If you attend Riptide Music Festival with a general admission ticket, you’ll have access to two stages, access to food + drink vendors sponsor activities and free giveaways, and an accessible and free water bottle refill station.

If you purchase a VIP ticket, you’ll have access to all of the general admission amenities, a VIP-only water bottle refill station, access to a VIP main stage viewing area, a VIP-only entrance and exit at south side of festival, VIP express lanes at the main entrance, climate-controlled bathrooms, VIP-only food vendors and a VIP-exclusive craft cocktail bar.
