Monday’s announcement that the iconic Interview magazine will cease publication did not go unnoticed by celebrities. Gwyneth Paltrow, Susan Sarandon, Cara Delevingne, and other recognizable names mourned the end of an era, one created by pop artist Andy Warhol when he founded the magazine in 1969.

Known as the “Crystal Ball of Pop,” Interview featured sometimes illustrated, always artistic covers graced by everyone from Mick Jagger to Stevie Wonder to Kim Kardashian. Its pages consisted of interesting conversations with cultural influencers, gorgeous fashions, and a style that other glossies came to imitate.

Here are the tributes celebs are sharing in the days after the bad news.

Gwyneth Paltrow

In December 2004, Paltrow went Old Hollywood for the mag.

Susan Sarandon

The timeless actress starred in a 1991 issue, just after the release of the now iconic Thelma & Louise.

Hilary Swank

Count the Trust actress among the magazine’s fans.

Lindsay Lohan

One of the covers of the Mean Girls star proclaimed, “La Lohan!”

Kate Moss

Identified only by her first name, the supermodel stunned in one of the multiple Interview covers on which she appeared.

Naomi Watts

Watts’s 2004 cover showed her having a ball in goth makeup.

January Jones

Mad Men‘s Betty Draper’s rocker glam photo appeared alongside an interview conducted by Jack Nicholson — yes, that Jack Nicholson.

Selma Blair

Blair covered Warhol’s publication twice, both of which she remembers quite fondly.

Naomi Campbell

Campbell, another much-photographed fashion favorite of the ’90s, appeared on another cover in the same month as Kate Moss.

Christy Turlington

Ditto Turlington.

Karlie Kloss

A new generation of models, including Kloss, are just as enamored of the magazine.

Troian Bellisario

The Pretty Little Liars alum was the subject of beautiful photos in the pages of Interview, but she shared that she’ll miss the words that accompanied those images most.

While there won’t be any future covers, the Pittsburgh’s Tribune-Review notes that the local Andy Warhol Museum has many of them on display.
