After setting the UK rap scene ablaze in December with the instant classic Upper Clapton Dreams 2, Rimzee didn’t rest on his laurels and quickly followed it up with a string of well-aimed singles that dipped into the rap and drill sides of his repertoire.

Now the East London rapper’s back with “Split Decisions”—a two-part mix of both sounds, the latter half showing us his more contemplative side.

We open with a sturdy, drill thump that puts his bravado on full show as he and his team break bread over the monopoly board in the Blackbeard-directed visuals. The second half then slows things down, transporting us to a prison cell as we watch the rapper look back on the ups and downs of his life and wonder if he could have done things differently.

Hit play on the visuals at the top and be sure to add “Split Decisions” to your playlists.
