Madame Tussauds Hong Kong has a new icon on display. Last week, a statue of Rihanna was unveiled at the museum, allowing fans to snap a photo with the global music star. According to the official website, the addition follows the reveal of wax figures of Justin Bieber and actor Chris Hemsworth.

Ahead of the reveal, the museum’s Instagram teased the arrival, writing, “a worldwide superstar is about to make a stylish entrance in a stunning look.” Guesses in the comment section included Filipino-Australian actress and model Anne Curtis, however, a few fans named the “Work” singer.

While the 35-year-old’s initial claim to fame is music, the life-like statue is displayed in Madame Tussauds’ fashion zone.

The figurine is dressed in the monotone orange FENTY look worn by the mother of two in 2020 during the brand’s pop-up launch at Bergdorf Goodman. The fashion label was initiated in 2019 and in 2021, Rihanna and Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) mutually agreed to pause activity.

Still, the mogul’s brands Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin operate under LVMH’s Kendo Holdings, Inc., per Harper’s Bazaar.

“Rihanna is an incredibly captivating artist, and through the introduction of her wax figure, we aim to convey her spirit of constant breakthroughs and unwavering determination,” detailed Mr. Wade Chang, the General Manager of Midway Hong Kong, Merlin Entertainments.

“We hope that every guest visiting Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will create unforgettable memories from their experience.”

As the year closes, fans of the Bajan pop star anticipate her next move. During her latest event, a sneaker launch as she and PUMA reinstate their creative partnership, Rihanna gave a hint that a third child might be on the horizon.

“So far, have daughters,” joked the chart-topper with E! News after correspondent Justin Sylvester asked if there was anything the singer could not do. “I’m batting at 75 percent for a boy next time. So, we’ll just keep our fingers crossed.”
