Rihanna can do anything—even wear fur in the lead-up to summer.

Despite the warming weather, the superstar looked utterly cool as she traipsed through New York City this past weekend, clad in a vintage John Galliano coat made out of plush caramel mink fur. Rihanna styled the statement piece over a simple outfit base, which included a light gray crop top layered atop a lacy black bra as well as a pair of black parachute pants. For footwear, she opted for nude stilettos with transparent toe and heel straps. She accessorized further with a black-and-white 2001 Louis Vuitton x Sprouse Alma bag sourced from Archive Vintage, massive silver hoop earrings from Jennifer Fisher, black sunglasses, and layers of chain necklaces.

Also of note is Rihanna's hairdo, with the singer making a rare move to show off her natural curls. The style seems to indicate the start of her highly-anticipated Fenty Hair line, which will debut with various products and tools on June 13.

Over the past few weeks, the beauty and fashion mogul has been spotted on a number of fashion-filled outings as she continues her Fenty Beauty press tour.

Most recently, she once again stepped out in New York last week while wearing a casual ensemble with an eyebrow-raising subliminal message: her blue T-shirt read in big white letters, “I'm Retired.” She paired the top with a navy blue maxi skirt, red sneakers, and a lime green woven leather handbag.

During another New York appearance days prior, Rihanna looked glamorous in a different fur coat. This one, designed by Rifat Ozbek, was covered in a gray and black tiger print. She wore the vibrant outerwear with a black minidress, black pumps, a black Gucci horsebit chain bag, and strands of diamond-encrusted necklaces from Briony Raymond.
