Ride Announce 2024 Australian Tour
English rock band Ride has announced a tour across Australia this August, where they’ll be showcasing tunes from their seventh album ‘Interplay’.
The tour will hit major Aussie cities including Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, before wrapping up in Perth. The band will also be joined by fellow rockers Mercury Rev for all performances.
Ride – ‘Sennen’
Since reuniting in 2014 following a notable split in the mid-’90s, Ride has been on a roll. With three albums released post-reunion, they’ve been together longer now than in their earlier days.
Formed in England back in 1988, Ride quickly made a name for themselves as pioneers of the shoegaze genre, blending indie and rock into an otherworldly sound. Their latest album continues to showcase their signature style, proving that they’ve still got it after all these years.
Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be available starting May 15 at 9 am local time, with general sales launching on May 17 at the same time.
