Ricky Martin Was Very, Very Nervous While Proposing to His Boyfriend
On Ellen, Ricky Martin very casually mentioned that he is getting hitched. Martin and his now-fiancé Jwan Yosef have been together for over a year now, but they first met under a more professional relationship — the singer was interested in buying his art. Yosef is a conceptual artist and Martin fell in love with his art and, eventually, him, too.

So who popped the question? A very sweaty Martin told Ellen DeGeneres that it wasn’t exactly smooth: “I had [the ring] in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying ‘will you marry me?’ I said ‘I got you something!’”
Considering that Martin was wearing a silver engagement band on Ellen, you can guess that Yosef said “yes.”
Martin didn’t discuss when the presumably fabulous wedding would happen, but the bigger question is this: Will Martin sing “Livin’ La Vida Loca” at his own wedding? Probably not for the first dance, but guests might be bummed if it’s completely overlooked.
