Rick Ross has continued his cold war with 50 Cent, as the rapper recently declared that everything the G-Unit leader does “sucks.” He also explained why he thinks 50 is the cause for the downturn in other creatives’ careers. During a recent interview with Complex, the Miami native agreed with the interviewer when they referenced Fif’s 2005 film Get Rich or Die Tryin’ in unflattering terms.

“Everything 50 [Cent] does sucks,” Ross said in response to the interviewer, who also alleged that the seemingly lukewarm reviews Get Rich or Die Tryin’ received led to the director Jim Sheridan’s career going in a downward spiral. This prompted Rozay to continue to denigrate Fif, who he accused of making the movie out of vain, at the director’s expense.

“R.I.P. Look what 50 Cent did to you,” he said in reference to Sheridan. “But at least he got a movie done about him. He took advantage of the system. But oh, my God, please! Who wants to see a movie about 50?!” Elsewhere in the interview, Ross is asked about him playing The Game’s 2005 hit “Hate It Or Love It” while on Instagram, alluding to the rapper referencing Fif’s late mother’s sexuality.

“I mentioned his mom,” the entrepreneurial rapper said. “She was one of those. So I said it in front of the song but the song was produced by Cool & Dre, my homies. So the song was a dope song. But I’ma sh*t on homie. He ain’t getting no money. If he ever come here ask him, ‘How it feel Rozay getting all that money?’”

When asked of the possibility of Ross and 50 making amends similar to how Meek and Drake have mended their differences, the MMG leader says he “doubts” that day will ever come. “We ain’t got no jobs for him or nothing,” the emcee said. “I’m sure he do [need a job].”

Rick Ross’ beef with 50 Cent marks one of the longest-running feuds in Hip-Hop today. The adversaries have released multiple diss records aimed at the other, with Ross unleashing “Mafia Music” in 2009, and 50 firing back with his own track “Officer Ricky (Go Head, Try Me).” The foes have since traded barbs in interviews music, and even in court, over the years.
