The Cult Animated Series Is Back

The third season of Rick And Morty) ended back in 2017, and fans of the hit Adult Swim show have been waiting not so patiently for poor Morty and his deranged grandfather Rick to go on more insane, vomit filled adventures.

Luckily the wait is over, and the trailer for the fourth season dropped today with a premiere date of November 10th. From the looks of it, everything is much the same: Rick is still a hilarious egomaniac and Morty is still barely cheating death. Barely.

A Shortened Season

While this is mostly great news, one bit of information sticks in the craw: this new season only has five episodes. Technically there will be a second half of the season, but it will be released at a later date. So yeah, five episodes. As psyched as Twitter was to get this news, the high was slightly deflated by the truncated season.

A Passionate Fanbase

Despite the shortened season (seriously, five episodes feels downright cruel), it's safe to say that Rick And Morty fans are excited to see their favorite show return. This fanbase has proven to be extremely dedicated and passionate -- just ask McDonald's -- so expect the new season to dominate online discourse while its airing. For five weeks.
