Rich Paul fuels marriage rumors with Adele in new interview

In the past few days, Rich Paul has been on a press tour in support of his new book, “Lucky Me: A Memoir of Changing the Odds.” On Monday (Oct. 9), the sports agent appeared on “CBS Mornings,” where he spoke on the release, his career, and relationship with UK pop star Adele. While on set, host Gayle King made an attempt to confirm whether or not Paul is now a married man.
“You know, Gayle, I don’t really talk about my personal life publicly, but if I’m going to give anybody some tea, it’s going to be [you],” he stated. “Let me say this: She’s been great, I think she would agree that we’ve definitely helped each other. I’m in a good space, we’re in a good space. Happy. She’s superb.”
He continued, “She’s been great for me. We’ve been great for each other. I’m just not the kind of person to put my personal life — it’s not for the media. It’s not for the paparazzi. It’s for us.”
Paul and Adele first sparked dating rumors back in 2021 when they made a public appearance during an NBA Finals game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Their relationship continued to blossom in subsequent months, which included photos taken at Lakers star Anthony Davis’ wedding to wife Marlen in Los Angeles.
“Yes, we’re together,” said Adele to British Vogue shortly after. “We’re very happy… And I didn’t get dragged along to the [aforementioned basketball game] because that’s his line of work. I was like, ‘We’re going to the game.'”
She added in a separate interview with Vogue, “Rich just incredibly arrived. I don’t feel anxious, or nervous, or frazzled. It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild… I’m a 33-year-old divorced mother of a son, who’s actually in charge. The last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know where they’re at or what they want. I know what I want. And I really know what I don’t want.”
