Kyle Busch’s Career
Busch, the younger brother of Kurt Busch, has been around race cars his whole life, getting his first driving lesson at age 6. By age 10, he was crew chief for his brother and launched his own driving career at 16. Since debuting 19 years ago, Busch has seen a lot of successes. He holds 60 wins in the elite NASCAR Cup Series and is one of only two active multi-time champions.
From 2008 until last year, Busch drove the No. 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, winning the NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2015 and again in 2019. In addition to his two Cup Series championships, Busch won the Xfinity Series championship in 2009 and is the all-time wins leader for that series with 102 total wins. He is also the all-time wins leader in the NASCAR Truck Series with 62.
Racing isn’t Busch’s only source of income. He owns his own racing company, Kyle Busch Motorsports, which currently has 98 career victories and seven owner’s championships – both are Truck Series records, according to his website.

Outside of Racing
Forbes states that he earned $16.1 million from winnings in 2020 and another $1.7 million from licensing and endorsements. Busch worked with entrepreneur Jeff Church in 2021 to launch Rowdy Energy drink, investing $1 million in the beverage.
In addition to his multiple businesses, the NASCAR driver and his wife operate the Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund. Inspired by their own struggles with infertility, the Busch couple started the foundation in 2015 with the intent to advocate for infertility awareness as well as to provide in-need families with financial grants to help offset treatment costs. The couple have two children, a son, Brexton Locke, and a daughter, Lennix Key.
