'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' cousins had a circular argument near the Bermuda Triangle when Whitney Rose said it was unfair for Heather Gay to "exploit my sexuality" to sell her memoir 'Bad Mormon'

Bermuda brought out the claws between Heather Gay and Whitney Rose.

Tensions were high between the cousins on Tuesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, as Whitney, 37, shared what she really thought about Heather’s memoir Bad Mormon.

The ladies made a stop at the oldest bar on the country during their trip, and the night took a turn as Lisa Barlow asked her costars who had actually read Heather’s 2022 book, giving Whitney an opening to call out her cousin for “exploiting” her sex life in the memoir.

In Bad Mormon, the 49-year-old Beauty Lab + Laser founder wrote about a 2017 boudoir photo shoot Whitney posed for as a gift for her husband Justin Rose. Suffice it to say, the Wild Rose Beauty owner was not happy because she thought it was hypocritical of Heather to put the Roses' intimate activities on blast while actively refusing to be open about her own sex life.

After Heather stood up to leave the table, the women got into a shoving fight before Heather ultimately stormed out.

Whitney ran after her and dragged Monica Garcia into the spat, telling Heather: “It’s not fair that you sex-shamed Monica and you exploit my sexuality in your book.”

Heather got the last word as she called her cousin's outburst “drunk and crazy.”

In the wake of Tuesday’s episode, Heather's tensions with her costars has crashed through the fourth wall — she's even vowed she’ll never film again with Monica, 40.

“I don’t think I ever will, ever. It’s pretty definitive for myself. I can’t speak for my other cast members but for me, it’s pretty clear,” Heather told Variety last month after Monica filed a lawsuit against Beauty Lab + Laser for an allegedly “botched and negligently performed” cosmetic procedure.

Looking past what happened at the pirate-themed dinner table, Heather hinted at “a lot of shocks and surprises” to come.

Calling the Bermuda trip drama “beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in my own life or anything I’ve seen on television,” she added, “The way it all exploded and didn’t really resolve at the reunion is something to watch for as well.”

Heather announced the release of her memoir exclusively with PEOPLE in 2021, calling it a “vulnerable” memoir that traced the path of her life as a Mormon who married into "church royalty” but then had to navigate an unexpected divorce and the emotional decision to leave Mormonism behind.

"A good Mormon would never write a book like this! I'm excited to tell my story and talk about the parts of my life that never make the TV screen," she told PEOPLE. "I hope that by sharing my experiences people will learn and grow from my mistakes, challenges and successes."
