Monica Garcia is sharing a special moment with her daughter.

On Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Garcia — who is a new addition to this season — talked with her 18-year-old daughter Bri about her prom plans, which led her to rediscover a few family photo albums.

When Garcia asked if everything is set for prom, her daughter asked if her mom was prom queen during her senior year of high school. The reality TV star then gets up to find photo albums from her own prom.

Alongside photos of her being crowned prom queen, Garcia found photos from when she was pregnant with Bri.

"So when my dad left when I was 4, my mom destroyed everything. So I don't even know what my dad looks like," Garcia shared, getting emotional.

"There's no pictures of him?" Bri asksed.

"No. Vovó [her mom] ripped them up, threw them away. So it was important to me for you to never feel that. So these are all pictures — this photo album is yours now — of me when I was pregnant with you. But it's also of your dad. Your biological dad," the mom of four told Bri.

In a confessional, Garcia recalled the circumstances around her pregnancy and her split from Bri's father.

"I got pregnant very young. I married her father at the time. He left for work one day, and my daughter was crawling on the floor and I could hear her playing with something. It was a clear plastic bag full of oxycontin," she recalled. "In that moment, I grabbed my daughter and I never looked back."

"I started dating Mike when Bri was one. So that has always been Dad," she continued. "This is not the first time that Bri has seen these photos, so Bri is very well aware that Mike adopted her because when I was going through all of this, I went to therapy. And the number one thing that the therapist told me was, 'Always be honest.'"

The episode switches back to Garcia and her daughter on the couch. "I don't want you to ever feel like how I felt, which was like a whole part of me is missing," Garcia said through tears.

Garcia is mom to four daughters — Kendall, 6, West, 7, Jaidyn, 13, and Bri.
