Tired of the accusations thrown her way, Meredith Marks threatens in the clip, "It gets to a point when you're accused of something over and over and over again, you may as well do it"

The nastiness and the rumors are nowhere near over for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In fact, the Bravo franchise's midseason trailer — debuting exclusively with PEOPLE — proves that the women are just getting started. Viewers have already seen arguments unfold and rumors run amock during season 4, especially during an explosive getaway to Palm Springs.

Later this season, the Housewives are set to head to another tropical locale to celebrate Monica Garcia's birthday. However, according to the midseason trailer, the celebratory occasion seemingly turns sour as Heather Gay says of the island, "Apparently it's not hard to get here, it's hard to leave."

Monica is then seen rushing to a restroom in tears, with Lisa Barlow following closely behind to ask, "Why would she do this to you?"

While viewers will have to wait to learn the source of the tears, elsewhere in the trailer, Heather, 49, tells Meredith Marks she recently received "devastating" information and later accuses Meredith of a "complete betrayal."

The Bad Mormon author adds, "Tonight happened because of what you said to Monica."

Meredith, 51, has already found herself in the middle of controversy this season: She's been criticized by Whitney Rose and Lisa, 48, for repeating old, toxic behaviors and was accused of spreading rumors about Angie Katsanevas' husband, Shawn, at the end of episode 5.

While Meredith has vehemently denied the accusations, she threatens in the clip, "It gets to a point when you're accused of something over and over and over again, you may as well do it."

The jewelry designer is later seen telling Lisa, "I am not the one bringing the tornado," and makes an inaudible comment about "karma."

The trailer also teases conflict between Whitney, 36, and Heather, with Whitney claiming Heather "exploited her sexuality" in Bad Mormon. Heather replies, "Do you understand what you're saying? Because you sound like an idiot."

Angie also jokes about Whitney's comments, saying in a mocking voice, "How dare you write about my sexuality," as she slides her red crochet dress up her leg and receives laughs from the cast. Later, she's seen throwing a glass at the ground out of frustration at a cast gathering.

And amid all the chaos of the trailer, Monica receives a stark warning from former full-time Housewife and current Friend of the franchise, Mary Cosby: "Don't trust no one."

But between the screaming, glass-throwing and tears, the second half of season 4 still includes the lighthearted fun and quick-wit anecdotes fans have come to know and love from the Housewives.

In one instance, Heather jokingly sings, "I just want Lisa to love me," as the Vida Tequila founder giggles alongside her. Whitney also takes a tumble as the ladies head out on a cross-country ski excursion.

During another scene, where the women are attending a sound bath, Lisa tells Monica she wants to enjoy the experience, to which Monica quips, "Yes, go ahead. Old people need it."
