In the clip — filmed pre-COVID-19 lockdowns — the entrepreneur and jewelry designer is shown making a grand entrance at an event wearing a sheer birdcage face mask with crystal embellishments. Marks paired the statement-making accessory with a black sequin blazer featuring high-shine silver lapels for the opening party of her costar Heather Gay's new Beauty Lab + Laser location.
Her over-the-top look has been making the rounds on social media, with fans seemingly excited to see what Marks' costars have to say about her face mask during the finale.
Podcaster and fashion columnist Evan Ross Katz weighed in on Instagram on Thursday, writing, "Still gooped by the fact that Meredith Marks is giving us this Christian Cowan hand placed Swarovski crystal face mask moment on next week's RHOSLC finale," alongside a photo of Marks.
The reality star confirmed she was donning a Christian Cowan design in the comment section: "Love this @christiancowan mask and the collab on my dress between @brooksmarks and @christiancowan 💎💙" she wrote, noting her son Brooks Marks' involvement. Cowan added, "Honestly iconic," while Brooks wrote, "So legendary 🔥."
"She was ahead all of us about the mask use! Yasssss," one Instagram user joked. "Wow! She's disengaging with her face 💙," someone else said, referencing the line she famously uses to leave heated conversations. (In the most recent episode, Marks "disengaged" from the dinner table when yelling ensued during the ladies' Las Vegas trip.)
Was Marks sending a message to her costars through her accessory? Was she just way ahead of the face mask trend that was soon to follow amid the coronavirus pandemic? We'll be anxiously tuning in to the finale to find out.
