RHOSLC Alum Monica Garcia Details First Trimester of Surprise Pregnancy
Monica Garcia might not be on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City going forward, but she’s still making quite a splash off the show.
Just recently, Monica made waves with a pregnancy announcement. “I literally went into urgent care for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong. And the doctor came in and was like, ‘You’re pregnant,’” Monica told fans.
Monica also expressed her disbelief at the time. She noted that she was 39 years old and on birth control. As such, it was hard to come to terms with the pregnancy. Nevertheless, she took it in stride, taking each day as it came. Speaking of which …
Monica’s business and surprise amid pregnancy
In a series of recent Instagram stories, Monica cataloged a children’s birthday party she attended with her kids. The party was well put together with a bouncy house, food spread, a ball pit, and more. However, given the party’s elaborate nature, Monica felt underdressed.
She filmed a video of herself with her makeup-free face, updo hairstyle, and gray V-neck shirt. “I would just like to say that this is how I rolled up to that beautiful event,” she told her fans. “So, yeah.” The video included hashtags reading “first trimester problems” and “pregnancy stuff.”
In a following video, she added, “And, um, no one told me I had toothpaste on my shirt.” She was, however, grateful that she’d at least brushed her teeth.
In another recent Instagram interaction, Monica spoke briefly about the surprise of her pregnancy. “Yes. I already have four girls,” she wrote in the caption. “No. I was not planning on being 39 and going through the baby stage again, but unexpectedly here I am.” But even if it wasn’t according to her plans, Monica seemed happy to roll with it.
