As the women prepared to travel to Palm Springs, Whitney Rose decided to bring an uninvited guest on Tuesday's episode of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'

Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow may have made amends on the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but other friendships are on thin ice.

Tuesday's episode of the Bravo series began with both the jewelry designer and Vida tequila founder apologizing for their past actions and vowing to move forward with their friendship. However, Meredith, 51, couldn't say the same for her relationship with Whitney Rose as they were both still reeling from their bathtub argument last week.

After Meredith invited all of the Housewives — except for Angie Katsanevas — to visit drag queen Trixie Mattel's Trixie Motel in Palm Springs, Whitney, 36, took it upon herself to secretly bring Angie, 49, along.

"Bringing Angie as a surprise, I fully am aware that I am poking the bear, lighting the match, throwing it in the fire," Whitney said in a confessional of her decision.

Moreover, Whitney and Angie flew to Palm Springs before the rest of the women so Whitney could "mark her territory."

The two seemingly became fast friends, with Whitney saying in a confessional that their "lives align" as they enjoyed a double dinner date with their husbands.

However, while Whitney had gotten closer to the new full-time Housewife, Heather Gay repeatedly expressed her lingering disdain toward Angie, whom she clashed with last season.

After claiming Angie "peaked in high school" in a confessional (Heather and Angie have known each other since the tenth grade), the Bad Mormon author, 49, told Monica Garcia that she "wants nothing to do" with the "catty and jealous" hairstylist.

On the other hand, Angie told her husband Shawn that she wanted to "move forward" with Heather and get rid of the "awkward energy" between them.

During a shopping trip, Monica opened up about her Mormon upbringing and revealed to Heather the shocking reason why she was excommunicated from the church: "for f---ing my brother-in-law for 18 months."

Heather — who also left the Mormon church — was literally weak in the knees upon hearing Monica's reason and asked how she got caught. While Monica admitted that she eventually came out with it to her bishop because she "felt guilty," she was immediately "shunned from everything and everyone" even though her brother-in-law — who she clarified was the husband of her sister-in-law — allegedly faced no consequences.

"Genuinely and truly one of the worst experiences of my life," she told Heather, holding back tears.

Earlier in the episode, Monica also became vulnerable with her mother and daughter as she spoke about her insecurities with the other women. She said she bought a Louis Vuitton bag before their girls' trip to Palm Springs because she "wanted to have something nice around [the women]."

"It's so stupid," she added of her insecurities, saying, "I don't want them to make fun of me for having a smaller house."

As Lisa packed for Palm Springs she told husband John that she hoped this getaway would be better than their past girls' trips, which she likened to The Amityville Horror.

However, it wasn't a good start to the vacation for Lisa, who lost a diamond ring in the women's restroom at the Palm Springs airport. "Does anybody see a ring on the floor? I'm freaking out," Lisa was heard shouting in the background of a video captured on Heather's phone.

Heather explained she was hiding in the bathroom stall because Lisa went "completely unhinged." She whispered, "[Lisa] came out with her pants half down screaming about having lost one of her rings."

After searching in the bathroom for "45 minutes," the ring — which Lisa said was worth $60,000 — was nowhere to be found. Of course, the women expressed their thoughts about the situation in confessionals, with Mary, 50, claiming the jewelry wasn't worth $60K and Monica joking, "It's at the pawn shop."

"I don't know what could have happened," Meredith smirked. "We were all searching high and low in that lovely public restroom."

Lisa couldn't let it rest either as the Housewives boarded a Sprinter van en route to the motel, complaining about the lost item and explaining that the emerald-cut band was a "sentimental" gift from her husband.

But little did the women know they had bigger problems on their hands as they arrived at the motel where Whitney and Angie were patiently waiting for them.
