RHONY’s Brynn Whitfield Reveals Her High and Low of Season 14

Brynn Whitfield’s hilarious and spicy tagline is catching on with the masses.

The Real Housewives of New York City castmate confessed the fans’ response to her witty one-liner has been her “high” of the season. 

The tagline, and its unusual threat, poke fun at her flirty nature and make it clear the marketing expert is not to be messed with.

"I love to laugh, but make me mad and I'll date your dad," Brynn says in the show’s opening credits. 

Brynn was quick to reference the tagline when reflecting on her first season on RHONY to The Daily Dish. 

“My high has definitely been my tagline,” she said as she prepared for the reunion special. “Just yesterday walking through SoHo yesterday night someone was like, dining al fresco and they just yell ‘I’ll date your dad’ and I was like ‘yeah!’ So that’s been fun.”

And she hopes the playful message may have even rubbed off on others.

“I hope everyone in America is like dating people’s dads,” she laughed. “And grandpas.”

As for her “low” of the season, Brynn cited some nasty criticism she’s received on social media — but luckily it’s been few and far between.

“A low would probably be, one of the other best things is, like, the Bravo fans. There’s like two that are really nasty, but the other 10 million are amazing and gorgeous,” she said.

Brynn is no stranger to stirring up drama during her time on RHONY. She found herself in the hot seat after playfully flirting with Erin Lichy’s husband Abe Lichy at the couple’s 10-year anniversary party. The remarks rubbed Erin the wrong way, although Brynn later insisted she was just joking. 

Sai De Silva has also hinted that something goes down later in the season that fractured the relationship she has with Brynn.

Plus, Erin let it slip on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that Brynn found her way to the hot seat yet again during the upcoming reunion special.

Brynn wasn’t the only one to offer up her high and low from the season. RHONY’s Jessel Taank also weighed in on the memorable aspects of her first season. 

She cited the fans’ love of her “one liners” as her high. 

“I think the high would have to be the fans’ reactions to Pavit and I and our dynamic,” she told The Daily Dish. “I always knew it was going to be hilarious, but it just validates how funny we actually are.” 

But Jessel wasn’t feeling some of the drama that plays out toward the end of the season.

“Stuff gets a little Mean Girls. It gets a little Regina George,” she said of her low, referencing the popular movie and one of its villainous characters. “Everyone’s picking on the sweet little Indian girl and that is not cool.”

Jessel found herself under siege during the cast vacation to Anguilla, as Sai and Erin made it clear they thought she wasn’t being truthful about her backstory and family history.

While Jessel insisted she didn’t come from a wealthy family, the exact amount of support she received seemed murky.

“My parents did not help me,” she said during dinner. “Why would I lie about that? They didn’t give me one single dime. I will get my dad on FaceTime right now so you can ask him. Yes, he paid for my college, and all that stuff.”

The drama continued to spill over into a boat trip the next day when Erin insisted Jessel’s life was “not that hard” and Jessel shot back by dubbing Erin the “Queen of Assumption.”
