Last night's episode of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' revealed another struggle within Teresa and Joe Giudice's relationship. When the couple got into a fight in front of the children, they take their father's side over Teresa's.

The tear in Teresa's and Joe's relationship began when Joe was arrested for fraud. After the couple each served individual jail time, Joe was deported by ICE since he wasn't a legal American. He was forced to return to Italy which is his native country.

According to PopCulture, Teresa, Joe and the daughters were celebrating Mother's Day. After a call from ICE, tensions rose and a fight sparked between Joe and Teresa over a gift he bought.

"You don't remember anything. I bought you a lot of things," Joe told Teresa, who was growing increasingly impatient. "My wife's brain is going to mush!" He yelled out to no one in particular.

"You don't remember anything," Milania chimed in defending her father. "So you don't! You have such a bad memory."

Teresa said in a producer interview following the scene that it hurt to see her daughters always take their father's side. She blamed Joe for turning them against her. "Today started out, beautiful day with my daughters but Joe always gets the girls to go against me," she confessed. "It hurts me tremendously. There should be no sides taken!"

Teresa has also been holding resentment for getting them arrested and causing her to miss seeing her mother before she passed away.

She also vented with her fellow 'RHONJ' star Dolores Catania, "My kids, they take Joe's side. Here I am busting my a— doing everything and then it's like, he's the greatest thing that walked the earth!"

Gia even admitted to taking her father's side in an earlier segment.

"Honestly, they're good at aggravating each other," Gia said of her parents. "But when he lashes out, I just wish my mom would keep quiet, just because he's fighting for his life in there."

Teresa and Joe have since separated.

"They agreed that each had to move on," the insider said told People. "They are doing so amicably and very slowly. Joe has been out on a few dates, Teresa has not. She has been too busy with the girls, with work obligations and taking care of her father. She is happy for Joe. They have been very friendly with one another and are very supportive of each other's happiness. They still love one another, but ... neither is interested in a long distance relationship."
