'RHONJ' Stars Teresa and Joe Giudice Separate After 20 Years of Marriage

It's over between Teresa Guidice and her husband, Joe Giudice, after two decades of marriage. The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" duo have decided to separate at this time, according to People, but a source tells the outlet “there are no plans for divorce” at this time. Despite lasting through two prison sentences and raising four daughters, his looming deportation case and moving to Italy proved to be too much for Teresa and Joe. They have reportedly decided to move on and the life-changing decision was made "amicably and very slowly."

Distance Was Too Hard:

According to the source, "They discussed their future when Teresa and the girls went to Italy in early November and they agreed that each had to move on." The insider tells People that Joe Giudice has already dipped his toe in the dating pool. “Joe has been out on a few dates, Teresa has not. She has been too busy with the girls, with work obligations and taking care of her father. She is happy for Joe. They have been very friendly with one another and are very supportive of each other’s happiness. They still love one another, but as Teresa told Andy Cohen on the WWHL special, they are separated by the Atlantic Ocean. Neither is interested in a long distance relationship.”

Despite the distance and separation, the source added “there are no plans for divorce” and “both of them are focused" on their four children -- Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10. As The Blast reported, Teresa Giudice joined her girls in Italy several months ago to visit Joe. The family of 6 seemed like a happy group during that time, but it was there that the two talked about their future. Joe was released from ICE custody in October after spending 7 months locked up following serving his three-year prison sentence.
