Who ratted out Teresa and Joe Giudice?

On the Thursday, May 30, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reunion, Teresa said she thinks her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, did the deed.

The topic came up when Teresa was comparing her storylines to Melissa's.

“I went to jail on the show. I got married on the show,” Teresa said.

That prompted Melissa to say former cast member Caroline Manzo ratted her out, as Teresa herself stated on the show in 2020.

“No, I take that back — I think you did,” said Teresa to Melissa.

Teresa served 11 months for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. After she got out on in December of 2015, husband Joe Giudice began his 41-month sentence for the same crimes in March of 2016, and was deported to his native Italy after his sentence.

The rat charge was left as a cliffhanger for part 2 of the reunion next week.

The friction between Teresa and Melissa, who wasn't invited to Teresa's wedding, was the main storyline of the just completed Season 13.

Andy Cohen, the producer of the show and host of the reunion, did state how Melissa and Joe came to be cast members starting with the third season in 2011.

“All I know is two things: She was cute and Joe was funny, and they had a double staircase just like you guys,” said Andy to Teresa. “I was like, 'Oh, that is funny.' ”

“Your whole storyline was me,” said Teresa to Melissa.

“Your whole storyline is talking about your brother in every scene,” Melissa said. “You should thank us for giving you something.”

Andy nodded his head in affirmation. Teresa stated that she was “done” with Melissa after taping the reunion.

“I want to close that chapter,” Teresa said.

Also on the show, newbies Rachel Fuda and Danielle Cabral continued their feud and Dolores Catania revealed her beau, Paulie Connell, is still married to his first wife.

“He's been separated for 14 years,” Dolores said. “I think there was never a call for it. I think he never thought about getting married again.”

Teresa's new husband, Louie Ruelas, seems to be a focal point of the next two reunion shows. He was brought up in the context of the Teresa and Melissa situation.

Louie wanted to be on “Housewives” franchise, and initially wanted to date Alexia Nepola from “The Real Housewives of Miami,” Melissa said.

“Before he was on the 'Housewives,' he kept telling Joe (Gorga) that week let's fly out there (to Turks and Caicos where 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' was filming) and get on the show,” Melissa said. “He did want to be on TV.”

Part 2 of the reunion airs 8 p.m. ET Tuesday, June 6, on Bravo.
