Alexia, 56, and Todd, 51, were married in a lavish ceremony at Eden Rock hotel in St. Barts on Dec. 16, 2021. Their marriage was originally postponed due to the pandemic, which viewers saw play out on season 5 of the hit show. Alexia's mother also passed away from Covid on what was supposed to be her wedding day, but the two were married a few months later.

“This year has been a whirlwind to say the least, but finishing it off as Mr. & Mrs. gives me hope for the years to come.” she posted on Instagram after the vows. “Thank you for all your kind wishes and love. 12.16.21.”

Marriage Is "Irretrievably Broken"

In documents obtained by The Blast, Todd stated that the marriage is “irretrievably broken.” The document also stated that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement on Dec. 10, 2021, but details of the agreement are not listed. Todd asked the court to “adopt and ratify” the terms of the agreement.

Alexia was previously married to Pedro "Peter" Rosello from 1992 to 1996, and Herman Echevarria from 2004 to 2016. Her previous marriages were famously fraught. Rosello was a well-known drug dealer who was in prison throughout most of their union. They had two children, Peter, 31, and Frankie, 27.

A Bravo TV article noted that, “Known as the ‘Cuban Barbie,’ Alexia met Rosello in 1987 at Club Nu Miami, according to Cocaine Cowboys, a Netflix docuseries. They soaked up the sun at the beach, before he had to leave to pick up a drug shipment.”

“‘In the very, very beginning, I never suspected anything,’ she says in the doc.”

Today, the two are still on good terms.

“I'm friendly with him. We're on very good terms. He's such a great father, and he's so good to Frankie and to Peter. My kids adore him. They spend a lot of time with him,” she told Bravo.

Second Marriage Ends With Secrets Revealed

Her relationship with Echevarria was also the stuff soap operas are made of. Their marriage was documented on season 1 of RHOM, which aired in 2011. The couple were active in the Miami social scene as founders of Venue Magazine, a lifestyle and entertainment publication.

They separated in 2015, but Alexia was devastated when Herman suddenly died in 2016 of a heart attack. However, after his death, Alexia discovered that Herman had been in a relationship with a man at the time of his death. Alexia even connected with his partner of two years to get “answers she was ready to hear,” she told Page Six.

She also said that she wished Herman had been open about his sexuality before his death.

“I would have loved for him to have come out and had this conversation because I would have supported him and helped him,” the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star said in an interview with S’More Date. ‘And hooked him up with all  my cute gay friends!’”

As for her marriage to Todd, viewers watched as his volatile relationship with her son Peter unfolded on camera. After fights about Peter’s relationship with his younger brother, Frankie, who has developmental needs following a horrific car accident in 2011, Alexia was forced to take a side between her son and her new husband.

She later said on “Watch What Happens Live” that their relationship had improved since the tense scenes that aired on RHOM.

“On WWHL, Andy Cohen asked Alexia, ‘Do you think Todd now has a better understanding about what you and Peter went through with Frankie prior to [Todd] joining your family?’

Alexia replied, ‘Absolutely. Todd has been in our family for five years already. Until you’re in it, and you see what we go through on a day-to-day basis … I see that Peter is such a good loving brother to his brother.’”

The “Real Housewives of Miami” originally aired on Bravo until 2013. It was rebooted on Peacock in 2021 and now airs on Bravo.
