Rhode Island's second Crumbl Cookies is about to open. Here's where it's going to be

One Crumbl Cookies wasn't enough for Rhode Island. Just a few short months after the first one opened, a second Crumbl is opening up on Friday, May 19.

This time, the bakery will be closer to Providence – in Smithfield, at 371 Putnam Pike.

"As local business owners, we are looking forward to sharing delicious cookies with our neighbors," franchise owners Shannon Branson-Fuller and Harrison Fuller said in a news release.

Crumbl draws from a rotation of 275 cookie varieties, with six types available per week, announced each Sunday via social media.

The Crumbl franchise made a name for itself by selling fan-favorite cookies in pink boxes that are designed to be posted on social media. There are 275 cookies in the Crumbl lineup, but each week only six varieties – announced on Sundays at 8 p.m. on social media — are offered for sale.

All cookies are made from scratch daily in the store, according to Beth Nardozzi, who owns the East Greenwich franchise. The dough is made on-site, not shipped from a commissary. The cookies are sold individually ($4.78), in a box of four ($15.58) or the most popular choice of six ($23.78).
