'RHOC' Star Meghan King Edmonds Shares a Huge Milestone With Son

Meghan King Edmonds shares the moment that her special needs son, Hart, stood for the first time and she could not contain her pride for her 1-year-old.

The 34-year old "Real Housewives of Orange County" star posted an adorable picture along with a video that will make you wipe tears from the corners of your eyes.

"Hart stood for the first time!" Edmonds exclaimed, "And I’m not talking for a half second, he stood for almost a whole minute!"

Luckily for Hart and us, the star's mom was there to capture the special time with photos and video.

"Only a week into intensive therapy @napacenter and this boy’s development is exploding! (And so is my heart!)," Edmonds continued.

She ended her message reflecting on what "a special and incredible moment" it was and added #gohartgo.

This milestone comes just a few months after her announcement that Hart has "irreversible brain damage" in a blog post.

"Hart has minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain," Meghan wrote in her blog and explained that the disease carries a risk of being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

Meghan opened up about her struggle to find the right doctors and to finally receive a diagnosis.

"Well, I knew. I always knew. I just knew…" she wrote. "I told our pediatrician – she said he was fine. I begged for a neurologist referral and when I got it – he said he was fine."

After struggling for over a week, Edmonds put her son through an elective MRI with anesthesia and received the diagnosis of the condition PVL.

"We were chosen to take on this special person," Edmonds said before ending her post, "God, you’re talking to me. I hear you. Let’s do this."
