'RHOC' Star Meghan Edmonds' Husband Jim Fires Back At Cheating Allegations
“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan Edmonds estranged husband Jim is firing back at the reality star’s cheating accusations.
Former MLB starJim Edmondsreportedly filed for divorce from Meghan last week. The split turned nasty quickly with accusations Jim cheated with their ex-nanny, Carly Wilson, and police being called.
Their nanny has denied the allegations and now Jim is responding to the claims. He took to social media to post a lengthy statement about the rumors.

He wrote, “** BREAKING NEWS ** It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people.. I did not sleep with our nanny. She’s not just a nanny, she is someone that we brought into our house and promised to protect and look after while she was in our home. We have been treating and raising this young girl like she is our own child! For someone to accuse me of sleeping with her is not only wrong, it’s disgusting and irresponsible.”
He continued, “Just because I am an athlete and I was portrayed as a bad person on bravo TV. Doesn’t mean I dont have a clue what life is all about. We made a promise to that young girls mom, that We would take care of her and make sure that she was safe while she was in our hands. I will not sit here and take this bullshit without fighting back."
Jim added, “Just because you’re extremely whitty and intelligent, and know how to play the Instagram game. Doesn’t give you the right to use that platform to wrongfully accuse.Not only is it irresponsible. It is dangerous and puts my family in harms way.We all make mistakes. This is not one of those times. My heart is broken for everyone involved. if you get anything out of this post. Get the truth.”
Meghan and Jim got married back in October 2014. She would join the cast of “Real Housewives of Orange County” in 2015.
The two appeared on the reality show from season 10-12. Meghan came back this season as a guest of the Housewives.
Following her departure from the reality show, Jim has been accused of cheating with another woman.
Back in June, Jim was accused of sending an XXX video to a mistress while Meghan was in the hospital giving birth to their twins.
At the time, Jim admitted to a “lapse in judgment” and said he engaged in an "inappropriate conversation" with the woman -- identified as "baseball madame" -- but insists the two never had a physical relationship during his marriage to Meghan.
Meghan responded to Jim in a blog post, “I’m a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I’m as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon," she wrote. "Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud."
Meghan continued, "Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me."She even addressed the rumors that he paid the mistress off.
"I found out the same way you guys did: in the tabloids. I never left a voicemail for the other woman. I called Jimmy and he confessed to me that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months and a physical relationship never existed. He paid her off to protect me so I’d never find out," she stated.
At the time, she said she hoped their marriage could recover from the situation.
