Gina Kirschenheiter is looking back at the past year and admitting her mistakes ahead of 2020. The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star took to social media to reflect on 2019 which included a turbulent divorce from her husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, a DUI and an up and down relationship with her fellow "Housewives." Gina, who's 35, said she's "far from perfect" but that's never been her goal in her latest social media post on Friday, the day after part three of the "RHOC" reunion.
Sharing a selfie wearing full makeup, Gina Kirschenheiter seemingly referenced her DUI and divorce by acknowledging, "This year was hard. I’m far from perfect and this year has certainly proven that. Fortunately, perfection has never been a goal or expectation of mine." Admitting that she's made mistakes and will continue to do so, Gina Kirschenheiter wrote, "I choose to stay positive and recognize that every bad mistake I make and ever bad experience that comes to me is an opportunity for personal growth. I have more and more life perspective with every experience I have. Good or bad. I will stay grounded and humbled."
Putting Past Behind Her:
She continued, "I am proud of where I came from and where I am going" and thanked everyone "who has supported and comforted me throughout my life journey," adding, "U r what makes my life profound." As The Blast reported, the "RHOC" star and Matt Kirschenheiter are in the middle of a bitter divorce battle after nearly 8 years of marriage. She filed for divorce in 2018 and months later was arrested for drunk driving. During the legal battle, Matt was arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly assaulting Gina. The two share three minor children.
